Oklahoma: B20 in Green Country, not much elsewhere

Every public biodiesel pump listed in Oklahoma is a Casey's, and nearly all of them sit in the northeastern and east-central part of the state: the Tulsa suburbs (Jenks, Collinsville, Skiatook, Claremore), Tahlequah, and a line of small towns down through Cushing, Seminole and McAlester. Oklahoma City, Norman, Lawton and the entire western half of the state have none listed.

That pattern comes from a retailer's expansion map rather than state policy. Oklahoma's past biodiesel production incentives have lapsed and there is no retail blending credit like the ones in Iowa or Missouri, so B20 here generally prices in line with regular diesel. About half the stations report the seasonal pattern — B20 in warm months, B5 in winter — and the rest list B20 year-round.

Tips for Oklahoma drivers

  • US-69 and the Indian Nation Turnpike corridor (Checotah, McAlester, Hartshorne) is the most useful stretch for through traffic; I-40 and I-35 through Oklahoma City have no listed stops.
  • Most of these stores close overnight. Only Checotah and Seminole are listed as 24-hour.
  • Heading north, coverage improves quickly once you cross into Kansas or Missouri.
