What this is
Biodiesel Near Me does one job: help diesel drivers and fleet operators find a pump that sells B20 or higher, and understand what they're buying when they get there. The site launched in 2025 and is run by a small independent team that also works in solar and alternative-fuel projects. It is not affiliated with any fuel producer, retailer, trade association or government agency.
Where the data comes from
Every station on this site comes from the Alternative Fuels Data Center (AFDC), the U.S. Department of Energy's public database of alternative fueling stations. The interactive map is AFDC's own widget, which updates daily. Our state pages are rebuilt from the same database; each one shows the date of its last pull. As of September 20, 2026 that's 1,997 public stations in 25 states. DOE doesn't endorse this site — we're simply a user of its open data. Details are on the methodology page.
How the articles are written
Our explainers on blends, engine compatibility and biodiesel versus diesel are written and reviewed by the BiodieselNearMe editorial team from primary sources: ASTM fuel specifications, OEM owner's manuals and service bulletins, FTC labeling rules, Argonne's GREET model, and DOE/NLR handling guides. Where manufacturers disagree or a number is uncertain, we say so. Every article carries a review date, and we fix errors when readers point them out.
How the site is funded
Display advertising (Google AdSense) and occasional direct sponsorships, always labeled. Advertisers have no say over station listings or editorial content, and nobody can pay to appear on the map.
Corrections and contact
